MISSION STATEMENT
Lord of Life Lutheran Church exists to be the voice and heart of our Lord of life, Jesus Christ, so that by His power and grace, He may gather a people for Himself from the Friendswood area, as well as throughout the world.
To achieve this mission, we have the following ten goals.
Goals concerning the inner being of the members at Lord of Life so that by the power and grace of Jesus Christ, they may be His voice and heart.
That they have a consistent attendance in worship services where the Lord of life can sanctify them through the Means of Grace;
That they have a consistent attendance in Bible classes/Sunday school where they can grow in their knowledge of the Word;
That they understand and enjoy reading God’s Word through which the Lord of life sanctifies people to Himself;
That they live in daily repentance and faith;
That they have a desire to maintain a school that trans children to know the Lord of life and love His truth;
Goals for how the voice and heart of Jesus will be displayed by our members to that Christ can grow His kingdom by His power and grace
That they take part in the mission of Christ’s Church by the sacrificial giving of their time, talents and treasures;
That they reach out to the community with the ultimate purpose being evangelism;
That they are able to defend the teachings of the Lutheran church;
That they encourage consideration from their children to be in the teaching/preaching ministry;
That they have a relationship with their fellow members that will encourage each other in the carrying out of these goals.
